Why a TV showrunner — and why now.

I started in digital marketing in New York in the early 2000s. Interactive campaigns. Figuring out how to make people care about something on a screen before most brands understood what a screen could do.

Then I spent two decades in television. Scripted series. Unscripted. Reality. Documentary. Real people, real stakes, real stories engineered to hold an audience and bring them back.

Here's what I noticed coming back around to brand work: the channels are completely different. YouTube. Instagram. Short-form. Vertical. Web. The tools your competitors are fumbling with right now.

What makes someone stop and watch hasn't changed at all.

Founders today have more direct access to their exact audience than any brand in history. Most of them are using that access to post content that disappears. The ones building real authority are doing it the way television taught me — with a genuine arc, a specific voice, and a reason to come back.

I spent 20 years learning how to build that in the hardest room there is.
